GCSE Arabic, which is a Modern Foreign Language (MFL), is a tiered 9-1 qualification. Available grades for candidates entered on the Higher Tier will be 9-4, with an allowed Grade 3 for candidates who do not quite achieve Grade 4. Available grades for candidates entered on the foundation Tier will be 5-1.
