GCSE Arabic Listening Paper

GCSE Arabic listening paper reminder.

The listening paper is not one which you can finish early, unlike the reading and writing papers. You will need to wait for the audio to complete playing before you can finish. Each section/question of the audio usually plays twice, so that you have the opportunity to make sure you have heard what you need to in order to answer.

The higher tier paper lasts slightly longer than the foundation tier paper.

Use the initial 5 minutes to read through the questions.

Try not to leave anything unanswered.

Make sure check your answers if you have time afterwards.

The listening paper takes time to practice and get used to the speed of speech so do allow yourself sufficient practice prior to this exam.
