This course is suitable for anyone new to the Arabic language as it is taught from scratch. It covers material that is taught at Key Stage 1 and 2 and adds more material. It is also used for adults over the age of 18 and children who have not yet reached the age of 11. It is a general basics to getting started.

We use the last year of KS3 Arabic as the pre-GCSE Arabic level for students who want to sit the GCSE Arabic exam.

Reading material may vary depending on the books you already have or prefer to use or our suggested reading material.

Although it is a basic level some students may need more time to get to grips with this level than others, especially if they have not had any Quranic Arabic lessons or if they have letter pronunciation impediments or if they are not in the habit of doing regular homework or if they have another motivational or learning reason.
